Sizing
(1) | Sizing of dried apple segments and rings is optional: Provided that if sized, the following provisions shall apply: |
(a) | The size of apple rings shall be determined by the diameter of the widest part, and the minimum size shall be 23 mm. |
(b) | The thickness of apple rings shall not exceed 7 mm. |
(c) | In the case of apple segments, the difference between the diameters of the largest fruit and the smallest fruit shall not exceed 20mm. |
Permissible deviations
(2) The maximum permissible deviations for dried apple segments and rings are as follows :
