12.1 | Voluntary Associations and Accredited Architectural Learning Sites are approved for the purpose of offering Category 1 CPD activities. |
12.2 | Voluntary Associations are approved for the purposes of validating and monitoring Category 1 CPD activities offered by providers who have not been approved in terms of these rules. This includes the allocation of appropriate points to such activities. |
12.3 | Voluntary Associations may charge an appropriate fee for the purposes of recovering costs reasonably incurred for validating such activity. |
12.4 | Whenever a Voluntary Associations validates Category 1 CPD, it must ensure accessibility, and the quality of the activity to registered professionals (Location); the costs and the relevance of the activity. |
12.5 | The Council has the right to review any CPD Category 1 activities validated by Voluntary Associations and ensure that such CPD activities are relevant and contribute to development and maintenance of professional competencies. |
12.6 | The Council shall not be proscribed to offer CPD activities to Registered Professionals. |
