Chapter 3 : Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners

Purchase

(1)	The Commissioner may delegate to a Deputy Commissioner or any official of the Authority any function or power conferred, or duty imposed, on the Authority or the Commissioner by this Act or any other legislation.

(2)	Any delegation in terms of subsection (1)—

(a)	is subject to the conditions that the Commissioner may determine;

(b)	must be in writing;

(c)	does not prevent the Commissioner from exercising that power or performing that duty; and

(d)	may at any time be withdrawn in writing by the Commissioner.
