PLEASE NOTE THAT:
(1) | the exemption in terms of which life partners are allowed to have a single TV licence came into force only on 28 February 2001 and is not effective retrospectively; |
(2) | should the life partnership be terminated, each of the partners again becomes individually liable for a television licence; and |
(3) | the licensee whose licence is hereby cancelled, will be required to take out a new licence on termination of the partnership. |
