In this Act—
"Convention"
means the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air, signed at Montreal on 28 May 1999, as set out in the Schedule;

"Minister"
means the Minister of Transport;
"Republic"
includes any territory in respect of which Parliament is competent to legislate;
"this Act"
includes any regulation made under section 8.
