An instructor certificate shall be renewable every 24 month after payment of appropriate fee as prescribed in Part 187 provided that the instructor—
| (a) | applies for the renewal every 24 months; |
| (b) | complies with all the requirements for aviation security instructor as prescribed in this Part; and |
| (c) | is affiliated to an approved ASTO. |
