| (1) | The Director shall establish a national aviation pandemic preparedness to deal with outbreak of communicable disease posing a public health risk or public health emergency of international concern, as referred to in the Disaster Management Act (Act No 57 of 2002 ) or any Act as may be passed by Parliament. |
| (2) | The procedure for implementation of the national aviation pandemic preparedness plan is prescribed in Document SA-CATS 113. |
