| (1) | The applicant shall engage, employ or contract a person identified as the qualified designer of the organisation concerned, to whom contractual authority has been granted to ensure that all design activities undertaken by the organisation are carried out in accordance with the applicable requirements prescribed in this Subpart, and who shall in addition be vested with a duty to ensure that any flight procedure design covered by the approval is performed as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 173. |
| (2) | The applicant's qualified designer referred to in subregulation (1) shall meet the minimum requirements prescribed in Document SA-CATS 173. |
