(1) |
A meteorological service provider shall establish the necessary capacity and capability to enable it to— |
(a) |
collect, store, and process meteorological observational data; |
(b) |
prepare aerodrome climatological tables for each aerodrome specified in regulation 174.01.1; and |
(c) |
make available such aerodrome climatological tables to an aeronautical user within the agreed time. |
(2) |
Aerodrome climatological tables shall provide— |
(a) |
the mean values and variations, including maximum and minimum values. of meteorological elements such as air temperature; |
(b) |
the frequency of occurrence of present weather phenomena affecting flight operations at an aerodrome such as sandstorms; and |
(c) |
the frequency of occurrence of specified values of one, or a combination of two or more elements such as a combination of low visibility and low cloud. |
