| (1) | The holder of a post maintenance test flight rating shall be entitled to act as PIC of an aircraft, in a category for which the pilot has a post maintenance test flight rating to conduct a post maintenance test flight, or proving flights. |
| (2) | The holder of a test pilot rating shall be entitled to act as PIC of an aircraft to conduct test flights, post maintenance test flights, and initial test flights. |
