| (1) | A holder of an operational valid Grade I air traffic service instructor rating shall be entitled to— |
| (a) | give operational instruction or on the job training on any of the valid ratings held by him or her; and |
| (b) | act as a validation examiner in any of the valid ratings held by him or her, if designated by the Director in terms of regulation 65.17.1. |
