An applicant for the issuing of an AME licence referred to in regulation 66.01.3 with a rating referred to in regulation 66.01.5, or an amendment thereof, shall—
(a) |
be a South African citizen or in possession of a valid permanent residence permit or valid temporary work permit with a letter of employment and be employed by a South African approved AMO; |
(b) |
be not less than 21 years of age; |
(c) |
have successfully completed the training referred to in regulation 66.02.2; |
(d) |
have passed the theoretical knowledge examination referred to in regulation 66.02.3; and |
(e) |
have acquired the experience referred to in regulation 66.02.4. |
