(1) | In addition to the language proficiency requirements specified in Part 61, an air service operator shall not assign a flight crew to duty unless at least one member of the flight crew has demonstrated to such operator, his or her ability to speak and understand the language used for radiotelephony communications over any route and airport named in the OFP for that flight. |
(2) | The level of language proficiency required to be demonstrated to the operator shall be as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 121. |
