(1)	The Secretary may grant a delegation or authority contemplated in section 10 of the Act in writing by setting terms and conditions of the performance of the power or duty in writing.

(2)	Any authorisation to perform a duty in terms of these Regulations does not prevent the Secretary of Police from performing that duty himself or herself.
