Whereas, as published under Government Notice No. 330 in Government Gazette No. 44432 on 09 April 2022, the period for completion of the Online Intermediation Platforms Market Inquiry (“OIPMI”) and a final report will expire on 18 November 2022, I, Ebrahim Patel, Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, in terms of section 43B(4)(b) of the Competition Act, 1998 (Act No. 89 of 1998), hereby extend the period for completion of the OIPMI and the final report for a further period of 3 months ending on 18 February 2022.
