Choice on Termination of Pregnancy Act

The amendment of section 1 by the substitution for the definitions of 'incest' and 'rape' of the following definitions:

' "incest" means sexual intercourse between two persons who are related to each other in a degree which precludes a lawful marriage between them as contemplated in section 12 of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Act, 2007;

' "rape" [also includes statutory rape as referred to in sections 14 and 15 of the Sexual Offences Act, 1957 (Act No. 23 of 1957)] refers to the offences contemplated in sections 3, 4 and 15 of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Act, 2007;".
