In Part II, unless the context indicates otherwise—
‘‘damage to property’’
means damage to any corporeal or incorporeal property;
‘‘disclose’’
in respect of a data message referred to in sections 14, 15 and 16, means to—
(a) | send the data message to a person who is the intended recipient of the electronic communication or any other person; |
(b) | store the data message on an electronic communications network, where the data message can be viewed, copied or downloaded; or |
(c) | send or otherwise make available to a person, a link to the data message that has been stored on an electronic communication network, where the data message can be viewed, copied or downloaded; |
‘‘group of persons’’
means characteristics that identify an individual as a member of a group, which characteristics include without limitation, race, gender, sex, pregnancy, marital status, ethnic or social origin, colour, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, conscience, belief, culture, language, birth or nationality;
‘‘related person’’
means any member of the family or household of a person or any other person in a close relationship with that person; and
‘‘violence’’
means bodily harm.
