The Minister may, from time to time in consultation with the council, prescribe the qualifications obtained by virtue of examinations conducted by an approved institution which shall, if possessed alone or together with another qualification, entitle the possessor thereof to registration as a dental technician or a dental technologist in terms of this Act, if he or she complies, before or in connection with or after the acquisition of the qualification in question, with the conditions or requirements so prescribed.
