(1)	Each representation of a design which consists of a repeating surface pattern shall show the complete pattern and a sufficient portion of the repeat in length and width to disclose adequately the design, and such representation shall be of a size not less than A5.

(2)	In a case where the repeating surface pattern is to be applied to a two-dimensional article, the representation may be in the form of a specimen.
