(1) |
Where the CCC finds, in terms of the ICASA Act, that there has been a failure by a terrestrial television broadcasting service licensee or electronic communications network service licensee, as the case may be, to comply with regulations: |
(a) |
3(2), (6), (7), or (10); |
the Authority may impose a fine not exceeding five hundred thousand rands (R500 000) for each day that the terrestrial television broadcasting service licensee was in contravention of that regulation.
(2) |
The Authority may impose a fine not exceeding two hundred thousand rands (R200 000) where an electronic communications network service licensee is found to be in contravention of regulation 10(3) or (4). |
