| (1) | A party to any matter may apply to the Appeal Tribunal to condone late filing of a document, or to request an extension or reduction of the time for filing a document, by filing a request. |
| (2) | Upon receiving a request in terms of sub-regulation (1) the registrar, after consulting the parties to the matter, must set the matter down for hearing at the earliest convenient date. |
