No person shall be appointed as a member or an alternate member of the Management Board—
| (a) |
if he is an unrehabilitated insolvent; |
| (b) |
unless he is a citizen of, and permanently resident in, the Republic; |
| (c) |
if he has been convicted of an offence and has been sentenced therefor to imprisonment without the option of a fine; or |
| (i) |
is in terms of the provisions of the Electoral Act, 1998 (Act No. 73 of 1998), nominated as a candidate for election as a member of Parliament; or |
| (ii) |
is in terms of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996, designated or appointed as a member of Parliament or any other legislative or executive authority of the State. |
