I, Dr P.A. Motsoaledi, MP, Minister of Home Affairs, hereby, in terms of sections 9A(2), read together with section 9 and regulations 8(1) of the Immigration Act No. 13 of 2002, (Act No. 13 of 2002), and after consultation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Botswana, withdraw the designation of Zanzibar as a port of entry from the Republic of South Africa and Republic of Botswana.

The above designation of the ports of entry will take effect from 01 December 2023.
