The Presidency
1. | In terms of section 2(1)(a) of the Judges' Remuneration and Conditions of Employment Act, 2001 (Act No. 47 of 2001) ("the Act"), I hereby determine that, the salaries and allowances of the Constitutional Court judges and judges of other courts shall be as set in Schedule with effect from 1 April 2022, subject to the terms and conditions set out herein. |
2. | The total remuneration packages shall include the following elements: |
2.1 | A cash annual salary component of 72.24%; and |
2.2 | A non-cash component of 27.76% (which includes motor allowance and employer medical contribution). |
3. | The total remuneration package does not include pension benefits which are separately regulated by the Act. |
4. | Notice No. 69 published in the Government Gazette No. 46620 of 28 June 2022 is hereby repealed. |
