In these Rules, any word or expression to which a meaning has been assigned in the Act bears that meaning and, unless the context otherwise indicates—
"day"
means a calendar day;
"evidence leader"
means a member of the National Prosecuting Authority appointed in terms of section 24(1) of the Act;
"notice of hearing"
means a notice of hearing served in terms of section 28(1) of the Act;
"the Act"
means the Judicial Service Commission Act, 1994 (Act No. 9 of 1994); and
"Tribunal President"
means the Tribunal President designated as such by the Chief Justice in terms of section 22(1)(a) of the Act.
