1)	A witness subpoenaed in any proceedings in the Commission is entitled to be paid in accordance with the tariff of allowances prescribed and published by notice in the Government Gazette in terms of section 142(7) of the Act

2)	Despite rule 13.1, the Commission may order that no allowances or only a portion of the prescribed allowances be paid to any witness.
