The funds of the Council, which shall be vested in and administered by the Council, shall be provided for in the following manner:
(1) | Every employee and every employer shall contribute to the Bargaining Council Levy, no more than 1 (one) percent of the weekly specified wage rate payable in terms of clause 4 of Part II of this Agreement, |
(2) | Every employer shall pay the amount determined in terms of sub-clause (1) to the Council in respect of such employees: Provided that the employer may deduct fifty percent of the amount payable from the remuneration of such employees. |
(3) | A sole trader, which is a person providing services in the industry but without employees, and who is registered with the Council shall pay a monthly administrative levy to the Bargaining Council, which levy amount will be determined by the Bargaining Council from time to time, which amount will not be less than R300 and not more than R500. |
(4) | Every employer shall, by no later than the 15th day of each month, forward to the regional offices of the Council all contributions in respect of the preceding month in the manner prescribed by the Council from time to time. |
(5) | Regardless of whether any amount is payable to the Council in terms of this clause, every employer shall, by no later than the 15th day of each month, forward to the Council in respect of the preceding month and in the manner indicated therein, the statement referred to in sub-clause (4) hereof. |
(6) | A sole proprietor, partner, member, director, or employer engaged in work specified in this Agreement shall be deemed to be an employee in respect of whom a council levy of a Master Installation Electrician is required to be contributed. |
