12. Protective Clothing

12.1.

The employer shall either provide the employee with protective clothing free of charge or alternatively reimburse an employee for the use of his own protective clothing at per working day at sea, of not less than that set out in the respective agreements attached hereto.

12.2.

It is the employe's prerogative to elect to operate any of the alternatives in subclause 12.1 above: Provided any change in his election shall be negotiated with the affected employees or the representative trade union.
