16. Maternity Leave

 

16.1. During an employee's first year of service the employee shall be entitled to four (4) consecutive month's unpaid maternity leave.

 

16.2. After completion of one year's uninterrupted service with an employer, employees shall be entitled to up to six (6) months' maternity leave, of which three (3) months will be paid at one third the employee's basic wage and three (3) months unpaid.3
