(1) | Membership of the Fund shall be compulsory for all employees for whom wages are prescribed in Part II of the Main Collective Agreement. |
(2) | Membership of the Sick Fund shall terminate immediately a member ceases to be employed in the Electrical Industry or upon dissolution of the Fund. |
(3) | An employer may, in respect of his employees employed in the Industry whose wages are not specified in the Collective Agreement but who otherwise comply with the provisions of the Agreement, by mutual agreement with his employees, join the Fund by making contributions from himself and those employees (or any of them) in accordance with the provisions of Clause 6 of the rules. Upon receipt of the completed application, the Council shall receive contributions from that employer, and the provisions of this Agreement shall thereupon in the same way apply to the employer and the employees concerned and be observed by them. |
