28. Contract Penalties

 

Where an Employee is found to be directly responsible for a penalty being imposed on the Employer because of the non-compliance with the terms and conditions of a subsidised contract, the Employee will be required to reimburse the Employer to the extent of the penalty incurred, up to a maximum of R400.00 per incident. Such reimbursement shall be deducted from the basic wage of the Employee.
