Extension to Non-Parties of the Main Amending Collective Agreement

2. Period of Operation

 

2.1 The Agreement shall come into operation—

 

2.1.1 in respect of the remuneration / basic salary / wages and contributions relating to parties, as set forth in Annexure "H" hereto, as from the 1st of June 2023 up until 31 December 2025; and

 

2.1.2 in all other respects in relation to both parties and non-parties, on such date determined by the Minister of Employment and Labour to be the effective date, on which this Agreement shall become binding on parties and non-parties, or the date on which the Minister of Employment and Labour declines to extend this Agreement to non-parties, on which this Agreement shall become binding on parties, and shall remain in force until the 31st of December 2025.

 

2.1.3 in so far as any provision contained in this Main Collective Amending Agreement is in conflict with the provisions of the National Minimum Wage Act, Act 9 of 2018 ("NMWA"), the provisions of the NMWA will prevail.
