ANNEXURE B: INSHORE BOTTOM TRAWL SECTOR CHAMBER

 

YEAR ONE

 

B.1. MINIMUM INSHORE REMUNERATION

 

1. Actual Remuneration rates shall be increased by 7% on the Basic Daily Rates and other components (except for the commission component) as from 01 July 2024 for the parties to the Agreement from the date as determined by the Minister in terms of clause 4.2. for non-parties. Commission rates shall be increased by 6% except to those where an average rate is used, which should not be less than these percentages as from 01 July 2024 for the parties to the Agreement and from the date as determined by the Minister in terms of clause 4.2. for non-parties. (Year One)

 

2. The following minimum Remuneration schedule sets out the increased minimum rates per Working Day for each rank which shall be increased by 7% from the date as determined by the Minister in terms of clause 4.2. for non-parties. (Year One)

The employer shall provide an employee with at least ten (10) hours of rest per Day.

 

YEAR TWO
