4. Jurisdiction

(1)	Any offense contemplated in section 3A(1) shall, for the purposes in relation to jurisdiction of a court try the offense to be deemed to have been committed within the area of jurisdiction of the court in which the prosecution is instituted.

(2)	Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any law, a magistrate's court shall have jurisdiction to impose any penalty prescribed by this Act.
