| (1) | These regulations are called the Merchant Shipping (Maritime Security ) Regulations, 2004. |
| (2) | These regulations commence as follows: |
| (a) | on the date these regulations are published in the Gazette - Part 1; Part 3, Divisions 3 and 4; Part 4, Divisions 3, 4 and 5 (except regulations 75 and 76); Part 6; Part 9 and Part 10; |
| (b) | on 1 July 2004 - the remainder. |
