If the Director -General approves the maritime security plan, the plan comes into force at the time specified in the notice of approval. |
| (a) |
the time specified in the notice of approval is earlier than the time at which the notice was given; or |
| (b) |
no time is specified in the notice as the time when the plan comes into force, |
the plan comes into force when the notice is given.
| (3) |
The plan remains in force until— |
| (a) |
the plan is replaced in terms of regulation 51(2); or |
| (b) |
the approval of the plan is cancelled under this Division. |
