I, Mr. David Msiza, Chief Inspector of Mines, under section 49(6) of the Mine Health and Safety Act, 1996 (Act No. 29 of 1996) and after consultation with the Mine Health and Safety Council, hereby issue the Compilation of a Mandatory Code of Practice for the Prevention of Flammable Gas Explosions in Mines other than Coal Mines in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act, as set out in the Schedule.
