The purpose of this programme is to conduct the overall management of the Department and provide support and advisory services.
2.3.2) | Programme: Service Delivery |
The overall objective of this programme is to protect the health and safety of workers and implement and enforce Department of Labour policies.
2.3.3) | Programme: Employment and Skills Development Servicesl Human Resources Development |
The purpose of this programme is to achieve the strategic objectives and equity targets of the National Skills Development Strategy and contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the National Human Resources Development Strategy.
2.3.4) | Programme: Labour Policy and Labour Market Programmes |
The main objective of this programme is to establish an equitable and sound labour relations environment and promote South Africa's interests in international labour policy and providing data and statistics on the labour market, including providing support to institutions that promote social dialogue.
2.3.5) | Programme: Social Insurance |
This programme provides for administrative and other support services to the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) and the Compensation Fund (CF), and manages government's contribution to the activities of these funds.
