I, Barbara Dallas Creecy, Minister of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment, hereby, in terms of section 25(3) of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998), make Regulations to domesticate the requirements of the Rotterdam Convention on the prior informed consent procedure for certain hazardous chemicals and pesticides in international trade, as set out in the Schedule hereto.
