I, Marthinus van Schalkwyk, Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, hereby, under regulation 23 of the Bio-prospecting, Access and Benefit-Sharing Regulations, published in Government Notice No. 138 of 08-02-2008, determine that the said Regulations shall come into effect on 1 April 2008.
