Where an operator has applied for accreditation in terms of regulation 30, that operator may use any operating licence or permit issued to that operator for the vehicle in question until a new operating licence has been issued under regulation 38(1) and the permit or operating licence has been cancelled in terms of regulation 38(2), provided that those licences or permits will lapse if the application for accreditation is refused on the date that such refusal is communicated to the applicant.
