General Provisions

Purchase

(1)	The Chief Executive Officer may, notwithstanding section 32, if it is necessary in the public interest, reveal—

(a)	any information which he or she considers necessary to prevent the public from being misled concerning any aspect regulated by this Act;

(b)	the fact that a commodity is not in compliance with a compulsory specification; or

(c)	the name of a person who docs not comply with or does not comply fully with a provision of this Act or any aspect regulated by this Act.

(2)	The disclosure referred to in subsection (1) may include the trade name and trade mark of a commodity or product.
