| (1) | The appointment of the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Research Foundation specified in Section 10 of the Act shall be made in concurrence with the Minister. |
| (2) | The Chief Executive Officer must enter into a performance agreement with the Board within three months of taking up his or her post as CEO. |
