Off - ramp:

 

1. On approach, check rear-view mirrors.
2. Check appropriate blind spot(s).

 

On - ramp:

 

1. On approach, check rear-view mirrors.
2. Check appropriate blind spot.
3. Adjust speed and position to facilitate entry of vehicles about to join freeway, if necessary.
