In terms of section 43(1)(b)(xii) of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 ( Act No. 85 of 1993), I, Tibor Szana, appointed as Chief Inspector under section 27(1) of the said Act, hereby include SANAS accreditation as a requirement for approval as an Approved Inspection Authority to perform inspection services in terms of Asbestos Regulations 8, 18 & 21, Hazardous Biological Agents Regulation 12, Hazardous Chemical Substances Regulations 6 & 12 Lead Regulations 7 & 14, and Noise Induced Hearing Loss Regulation 7.
