Performing Animals Protection Act, 1935 (Act No. 24 of 1935)3E. Delegation of powers and functions |
| (1) | The National Licensing Officer may delegate any of his or her functions under this Act to— |
| (a) | an officer, in consultation with the relevant head of department; or |
| (b) | an expert or other person appointed in terms of section 3D. |
| (2) | A delegation in terms of subsection (1) must— |
| (a) | be in writing; and |
| (b) | state the nature and extent of the delegation. |
| (3) | A person contemplated in subsection (1) must comply with the qualifications set out in section 3B. |
