Imposition of Levies on Perishable Products

Hour and Kilometre Rates

 

Rate per hour

Normal Time (8 am to 5 pm weekdays)

R689 per hour

Normal Overtime

R756 per hour

Sundays & Public holidays

R845 per hour

Kilometre rate

R5.87 per kilometre
• Above rates will be valid from 1 April 2019 until further notice.
• In all instances where a service is delivered and unit rates are not sufficient to cover costs, PPECB will retain the right to, at it’s discretion, charge hour and or kilometre rates as listed above instead of or in addition to the published fees. For administrative purposes hour and kilometre rates may be adapted to an equivalent tariff per unit.
• Where hourly rates are charged, a minimum fee for a one hour call out will be charged. Thereafter time will be charged in half hour segments ie R345.00 per half hour or part thereof. The same principle will be applied to overtime and Sunday time.
• After hour callouts are defined as all callouts made outside Normal Time (8am to 5pm weekdays) and will be charged for at the Normal Overtime or Sunday & Public holiday hour rate.
