Independent Communications Authority of South Africa

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) hereby gives notice in terms of section 30 of the Postal Services Act No.124 of 1998,  that, in consultation with the South African Post Office, and in accordance with 2013 Price Cap Regulations for Reserved Postal Services (Government Gazette No 37010 of 8 November 2013) as amended, the postage rates and service fees for the reserved postal services contained in this schedule will apply as from 01 April 2024.

The increase in postage rates and service fees for the reserved postal services were determined based on an allowable revenue cap increase of 5.5% approved by the Authority for the 2024/25 tariff control period.
