In these regulations, any word or expression to which a meaning has been assigned in the Act shall bear the meaning so assigned and, unless the context indicates otherwise—

"Designated social worker"

has the meaning ascribed to it in section 1 of the Children’s Act, 2005 (Act No. 38 of 2005), and includes the social worker appointed to handle the case of the particular victim of trafficking;

"Director-General"

means the Director-General of the Department responsible for the administration of social development; and

"Minister"

means the cabinet member responsible for the administration of social development.
