(1) | A victim or a relative or dependant of a victim who applied for assistance in terms of these Regulations for a particular year but whose application was not approved due to non-compliance with the conditions, criteria and requirements provided for in these Regulations, may apply for assistance in respect of any other subsequent year. |
(2)
(a) | A victim or a relative or dependant of a victim who received assistance in terms of these Regulations for a particular year and who wishes to receive further assistance in subsequent years to complete his or her school education, does not have to re-apply for further assistance but must complete Form 3 in the Annexure and submit it to the dedicated official in the manner provided for in regulation 10(8) on or before the cut-off date provided for in regulation 10(3)(b). |

(b) | The conditions, criteria and requirements provided for in these Regulations, excluding the conditions in regulation 9(1), are applicable to a victim or a relative or dependant of a victim referred to in paragraph (a). |
(c) | The dedicated official does not have to comply with regulation 12(1) in respect of a victim or a relative or dependant of a victim referred to in paragraph (a). |
(d) | The procedures set out in regulations 13 and 14 are applicable in respect of any subsequent application for assistance. |
